A friend of mine recently got married, which means I had the perfect excuse to rid myself of unneeded scrapbooking supplies!

 Before the economy went South, I was a die-hard scrapbooker. I probably paid for many store owners vacations with my hoarding of supplies. I had 3, count ‘em, three unused scrapbooks in my possession-one purple, two green. So, when my friend got married recently, I asked what her favorite color was.

 Purple, she says.

 I made them an album cover page to put in the purple album. I wrapped it up and sent it on its way. 

  This shaker heart box by the now defunct Rebecca Sower designs dictated the color of the page. I’m a frugalista, therefore, I used my hoarded supplies and made this. Hope they like it!
